Dr. Justin West was born and raised in Orange, CA.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Pomona College in Claremont, CA followed by his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.  He then attended the prestigious six-year residency program in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.  There he trained under surgeons renowned for their accomplishments in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, craniofacial reconstructive surgery, cosmetic facial surgery, peripheral nerve surgery and advanced wound care and limb salvage.

During his training, Dr. West’s clinical research was published in several textbooks and national journals.  During his final year at Georgetown, he received the highest score at his institution on the national plastic surgery resident examination.

After residency, Dr. West pursued fellowship subspecialty training at the distinguished Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital where he received advanced training in cosmetic surgery under the direction of internationally recognized experts. During this year he focused on cosmetic surgery of the face and body, and was involved in teaching plastic surgery residents from New York University and Cornell.

Dr. Justin West is the Director of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the Breast Care and Imaging Center of Orange.  His many years of training have prepared him to offer the latest techniques in both implant and flap reconstruction of the breast, including specialized procedures such as the DIEP flap.
  
In addition to reconstructive breast surgery, Dr. West runs a cosmetic surgery practice adjacent to the Breast Care and Imaging Center.  There he performs both surgical and non-invasive procedures for rejuvenation and enhancement of the face, breasts and body. 

Dr. West is married to Lisa Collea, MD, an ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in refractive and cornea surgery.  His hobbies include travel, SCUBA diving and wildlife photography.
